Who we are

What we collect and why

• Job applications — the details you enter in our online application form (and any CV you upload) so that we can assess your application, carry out pre-employment checks and, if you are successful, manage your engagement with us.
• Staff requests and enquiries — the contact and booking details you send so that we can respond and arrange staffing or training.
• Equal opportunities information — optional. It is used only for monitoring purposes and does not form part of your application.

Lawful basis

We process application data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to meet our legal obligations (for example right-to-work and safeguarding checks), and in our legitimate interests in recruiting suitable staff and responding to enquiries. Information about health or criminal records is processed only where permitted by law for employment and safeguarding purposes. Equal opportunities information is processed with your consent and you can choose not to provide it.

How your information is sent and stored

Information submitted through our forms is sent by email to our office and stored securely within our staff records systems. Access is limited to members of our team who need it.

How long we keep it

If you are successful, your information is kept in your personnel file while you work with us and for up to 6 years afterwards. If your application is unsuccessful, your information is securely deleted once it is no longer needed for the recruitment process. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.

Sharing

We share information only where necessary — for example with referees you name, the Disclosure and Barring Service, the clients where you are placed, or auditors and regulators where required. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email info@apluscare.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers. Links to Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
